Installation administrators can now specify a maximum bitrate for AutoDJ mount points and remote relays, as well as a maximum number of mount points and HLS streams. This can help multi-tenant AzuraCast installations avoid situations where individual stations consume excessive resources.
-
You can now specify a priority value for playlists and song requests. If two playlists are set to play at the same time, the higher-priority playlist will always play first. This also lets you prevent requests from always pre-empting playlists by setting them to a lower priority, or forcing them to adhere to the priority rules of the playlists themselves.

Automatically block bad crawlers, spammers and bots by setting
NGINX_BLOCK_BOTS=true
inazuracast.env
. This feature is powered by the Nginx Ultimate Bad Bot Blocker. If enabled, the rules will automatically be updated daily to ensure up-to-date protection.

Significant work has been done on the AutoDJ scheduler. While this work continues, we believe we have reached a stable state where the updated scheduler can reliably be used in a majority of cases.
-
A majority of AzuraCast's custom Liquidsoap configuration has been moved to a "Common Runtime" file to improve cacheability and maintainability. You may need to update your Liquidsoap custom configuration if you use any. Note that this will be the last stable release before Liquidsoap 2.3.x ships, which will also require modification of custom code.

Fixed a bug preventing song lyrics from persisting when editing media.
-
Fixed an error that caused the "Live Connected" webhook to dispatch when a DJ disconnects.
Sincerely,
The Magic Streams L.P Team
