With cPanel hosting you create email addresses on your domain (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). You log in to cPanel with Login to Panel (see cPanel: Logging in).

If you need more advanced email for your business, see also Professional Email.

New email account

  1. Go to Email → Email Accounts and click Create.
  2. If you have several domains, choose the right one under Domain.
  3. Enter the Username (the part before the @). It can't be changed later.
  4. Under Set password now, enter a password or click Generate for a random one.
  5. Under Storage Space you set how much space the mailbox has.
  6. Click Create.

Webmail

In Email Accounts, click Check Email next to the account. Or open https://your-domain:2096 and log in with the full email address and its password.

Settings for computer and phone

In Email Accounts, click Connect Devices next to the account. It has automatic setup for well-known programs and, under Mail Client Manual Settings, the details for manual setup:

ServerPort (SSL/TLS)
IMAP (incoming, recommended)as shown in Connect Devices993
POP3 (incoming)as shown in Connect Devices995
SMTP (outgoing)as shown in Connect Devices465

The username is the full email address, and SMTP requires authentication with the same details. See also Setting up email on your computer and phone.

Forwarders

In Email → Forwarders, click Add Forwarder, enter the address to forward and where messages should go (Forward to Email Address), and click Add Forwarder. Add Domain Forwarder forwards a whole domain.

Autoresponders

In Email → Autoresponders, click Add Autoresponder. Fill in Email, From, Subject and Body, set when it starts (Start) and stops (Stop) and click Create. Interval sets how many hours before it replies again to the same sender.
