cPanel: Logging in and what you see in the Client Area

13250 views

cPanel is your hosting control panel: from there you manage files, email, databases, SSL certificates and WordPress.

Logging in from the Client Area (recommended)

  1. Log in to the Client Area and go to Services → My Services.
  2. Click Manage on your hosting.
  3. Click Login to Panel in the right column. cPanel opens in a new tab, already logged in, without a password.

The button only appears when the service is Active.

Logging in directly

  • Open https://your-domain:2083 and log in with your cPanel username and password. You can see them on the service page, under Login credentials.
  • If you've turned on two-factor authentication in cPanel, you'll also be asked for the six-digit code.
  • For webmail, open https://your-domain:2096 and log in with the full email address and its password. See cPanel: Email accounts.

What you see on the service page

  • Your hosting's domain, below the package name, and the Visit Website button.
  • Under Usage statistics: how much space (Disk), traffic (Bandwidth) and MySQL databases you use, compared to your package's limits.

If you need more space, see Changing billing cycle, upgrading and downgrading your package.
