AzuraCast: Music, folders, playlists and scheduling

Uploading music
- In the Media Manager, drag your files into the upload area at the top of the page. See also the video in AzuraCast: Uploading songs.
- You can organise your songs in folders.
Important: every song must belong to at least one playlist. Otherwise AutoDJ won't play it.
Folder to playlist
Select a folder, click Set Playlists and choose the playlist. Anything you add to that folder later goes into the playlist automatically.
Playlist types
| Type | When it plays |
|---|---|
| General Rotation | Your station's main music. |
| Once Per X Songs | Once every so many songs (e.g. a jingle every 4 songs). |
| Once Per X Minutes | Once every so many minutes. |
| Once Per X Hour | Once an hour, at a set minute. |
Any playlist can also be scheduled to play in one or more time blocks, and only within certain dates if you like.
Many files at once (SFTP)
If the Media menu has SFTP Users, you can upload many files at once with a program such as FileZilla, WinSCP or Cyberduck. The connection details are shown on the SFTP Users page.
