The Music Library is a shared collection of tracks, organised into categories and maintained by us. You copy tracks from it into your station with one click, without having to find and upload them yourself. It's ideal for getting a new station started quickly or for filling a playlist.

Before you start

  • The Library is an extra feature. If you see a PRO badge on Content → Music Library, your package doesn't include it. Click it to see what it offers, and enable it from your service page in the Client Area (Configuration & Details card).
  • Every track you import is copied into your account and uses space from your package. Your used space is shown at the top right of the page.

Importing tracks

  1. Go to Content → Music Library. You see category cards with the number of tracks and size.
  2. Click a category. A list appears with Title, Artist, Album, Year, Format and Duration. Use ▶ to hear a preview.
  3. To find something specific, type in Search tracks....
  4. Above the list, choose the folder the tracks will go into. With + New Folder... you can set a new name; the folder is created on the first import.
  5. Import in one of three ways:
    • One track: the download button on its row.
    • Selected tracks: tick tracks and click Import Selected.
    • The whole category: click Import All and confirm.
  6. Imported tracks show Imported. At the end you'll see Import Complete.

The tracks appear straight away under Tracks, with title, artist and cover. To play them, add them to a playlist (Playlists) with the Entire folder button.

Good to know

  • Import All and space: before it starts, it checks that the whole category fits. If it doesn't, nothing is imported and you see Storage limit exceeded. Import selected tracks instead.
  • Import All on a category you've already used: it copies again the tracks you already have, so you'll end up with duplicates. If you've already imported part of a category, use Import Selected.
  • If you leave No Folder with Import All, the tracks go into a folder named after the category.
  • The Imported label is based on the title. If you already have your own track with the same title, it may show as imported when it isn't. Click the download button anyway if you also want the Library's track.
  • The list loads 50 tracks at a time. Scroll down for more.
  • If you remove the feature later, the tracks you've already imported stay in your account.
