Nameservers define which server answers for your domain. DNS records define where your website and email point.

Changing nameservers

1. Log in to the panel and go to My Domains.
2. Open the domain you want.
3. Enter the new nameservers and save.

How long it takes

The change propagates gradually across the internet. It usually completes within a few hours but can take up to 24. During that time some visitors see the old server and some the new one.

Before you change anything

If your email runs on the old server, changing nameservers will stop mail delivery until it is configured on the new one. If you are unsure, ask us first in a ticket.
