Paying with an RF code (DIAS) from any Greek bank
2106 viewsThe Electronic Payment Code (RF) lets you pay Magic Streams from any Greek bank, just as you pay a utility bill: through e-banking, your bank's app, an ATM or at a branch. You don't need to enter an IBAN or a reference; the code tells us who paid.
Where to find your code
- On the Client Area Dashboard, in the Electronic payment code card → Your code, with a copy button.
- On any proforma invoice, if you choose Payment Method: DIAS (RF code). The RF Payment Code appears.
The code starts with RF and has 25 characters, e.g. RF12 9123 4000 0000 0000 1234 5. It's usually the same for all your proforma invoices, because it's linked to your account.
Paying through e-banking or your bank's app
- Log in to your bank's e-banking or app.
- Go to Payments (or "Bill payments", "Pay with RF code", depending on the bank).
- If you're asked for a payee, search for Magic Streams. At many banks the "Pay with RF" option is enough.
- Paste the RF code, without spaces if the bank doesn't accept them.
- Enter the amount of the proforma invoice you're paying, as shown on the proforma invoice.
- Confirm the payment and keep the receipt.
At an ATM or branch, ask for a "payment with RF code" and give the code. At the counter, tell the cashier the payment is to "Magic Streams".
When it's credited
The payment goes through the DIAS system and is credited the same day. Once it's credited, the proforma invoice becomes Paid and you receive a confirmation email. Payments made on a Friday, at the weekend or on public holidays are credited the next working day.
If your service expires today or is suspended, use card or IRIS instead, which are credited immediately. See How to pay a proforma invoice.
Charges
Any payment charges are set and kept by your bank. Many banks don't charge for payments through e-banking.
Frequently asked questions
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| The bank says the code isn't valid | Check you copied all of it (25 characters, starting with RF), without spaces. Try the "Pay with RF" option instead of choosing a payee. |
| I paid the wrong amount | If you paid less, the proforma invoice stays Unpaid with the balance. If you paid more, the difference goes into your credit balance. Either way, send us a ticket with the receipt. |
| I have two unpaid proforma invoices | Pay each one separately with its amount, or use Pay all unpaid proforma invoices and pay the total in one payment. |
| A working day has passed and it isn't credited | Send a ticket to billing with the payment receipt. |
