Plesk's WordPress Toolkit installs and manages WordPress for you. You log in with Login to Panel (see Plesk: Logging in).

Installing

1. Click WordPress in the left menu and then Install.
2. You can install the latest version with default settings, or first change the version, language, admin details and automatic updates.
3. Click Install.

If you uploaded WordPress yourself, click Scan so the Toolkit finds it.

Security

On the site's card, click the message under Security (e.g. "Apply critical security measures"), choose the security measures and click Secure. Take a backup first.

Updates

• Manually: in the Status section, choose the updates and click Update. Keep Restore Point ticked for WordPress updates, so you can roll back.
• Automatically: in the card's automatic update settings. We recommend at least having security updates installed automatically.

Changing the site's address

From the card's menu (three dots), click Update Site URL. Useful when you move the site to https: see Plesk: WordPress on HTTPS.
