SonicPanel: Recording DJs' live shows

8128 views

SonicPanel can record every live show of your DJs to an MP3 file. You can then download it, and re-upload it to play in a playlist if you want.

Turning recording on

  1. Log in to SonicPanel with Login to Panel (see SonicPanel: First steps).
  2. In the left menu, click Manage AutoDJ.
  3. Enable Record Live DJ Shows, choose the recording quality and save.

From then on, every time a DJ is on air, the show is recorded as an MP3 in your account.

Downloading and deleting recordings

  • In the left menu, click List/Download DJ Shows. There you download and delete recordings.
  • Each DJ downloads their own recordings from the DJ panel after the show ends. If you delete a recording, the DJ no longer has it either.
  • All recordings are deleted automatically on the 1st of every month at 23:59. Download the ones you want to keep.

Watch your space

  • Recordings use your package's space. A long show can reach 500 MB to 1 GB, especially at 320 kbps.
  • If the space fills up, you can't upload songs until you delete songs or recordings.
  • You can see usage under View Disk/HDD Usage in the left menu.
