MediaCP: First steps, panel login and your channel's details

This guide shows how to get into MediaCP (Media Control Panel), the video streaming panel, and what you can see about your channel in the Client Area. If you're not sure you have MediaCP, first read Which radio or video panel do I have?

Logging in to MediaCP

  1. Log in to the Client Area and go to Services → My Services.
  2. Click Manage on your channel.
  3. Click Login to Panel in the right column. MediaCP opens in a new tab, already logged in, without typing a password.
  4. Inside MediaCP, click Overview next to your service. That's your channel's main page (Service Overview), with the connection details for live streaming. The left menu takes you to the other settings.

The button only appears when the service is Active. If it's suspended, see Service renewal, reminders and what happens if payment is late.

Your MediaCP password

  • You can see the username and password on the service page, under Login credentials.
  • Login to Panel logs you in with this password. If you change the password inside MediaCP, the button will stop logging you in. In that case, open a support ticket so we can update the password.

What you see on the service page

Under Usage statistics you can see your channel's details as MediaCP reports them. The Refresh button reloads them.
