In Everest Cast you broadcast live with a DJ account. When no one is broadcasting, AutoDJ plays.

With a DJ account (recommended)

1. Log in to Everest Cast with Login to Panel (see Everest Cast: First steps).
2. Click DJ in the menu and then Add DJ. Add an image and a name, tick Active, set a password and click Add DJ.
3. Click Edit on the DJ. It shows connection instructions for the most common broadcasting programs. Enter the details in your program exactly as shown.
4. Start broadcasting in your program. When the DJ is on air, Connected and On air turn to Yes in the DJ list.

If two DJs connect at once, the one with the higher priority goes on air. You change the order by dragging the DJs in the list.

Without a DJ account

1. Under DJ, open AutoDJ and untick Active.
2. On the home page (Home → Main), in the channel list at the bottom, click Admin. It shows the IP, port and broadcasting password.
3. Enter these details in your broadcasting program.

In this case AutoDJ doesn't play when you stop. Don't forget to tick Active on AutoDJ again when you're done.

Broadcasting software

It works with Shoutcast- and Icecast-compatible programs such as BUTT (free), Mixxx (free), RadioDJ, SAM Broadcaster, RadioBOSS, VirtualDJ and PlayIt Live.
