AzuraCast: Listing in the Shoutcast Directory (AuthHash)

For your station to appear in the Shoutcast Directory, you enter its AuthHash in AzuraCast's mount point. This only applies when your station has a Shoutcast 2 server (you can see the type on the service page, under Server Type).

Steps

  1. Get the AuthHash from shoutcast.com: see Shoutcast Directory: How to list my station.
  2. Log in to AzuraCast with Login to Panel on the service page (see AzuraCast: First steps).
  3. Go to Broadcasting → Mount Points and click Edit on your station's mount point.
  4. Paste the AuthHash into the AuthHash field and save.
  5. Restart broadcasting (Restart Broadcasting) so the new setting is written.
  6. After a few minutes, search for your station on directory.shoutcast.com.

Note

Don't enter the AuthHash from the Shoutcast admin page (admin.cgi). AzuraCast rewrites the Shoutcast settings on every restart, so it gets lost there. Always enter it in AzuraCast's Mount Points.
