Every Multicast Radio station has a ready-made public page at https://…/station/your-username. It has a player, what's playing now, the latest tracks, the listener count, a chat and requests. It's ideal for sharing on social media or in a QR code. If you don't have your own website, it can be your station's "website".

To view your page: click your name at the top right → Public Page (the one with the ↗ arrow), or View Page on the settings page. If you have a Custom Domain, the page also opens on your own domain.

Page settings

Go to Streaming → Public Page. All settings are saved together with the Save button below the Preview on the right.

Basic Information

  • Page Title: your station name, as shown on the page and in players. If you leave it empty, your username is shown.
  • Description: a few words about the station.
  • Logo: JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP, up to 2 MB. A width of up to 300 pixels and a transparent background (PNG) are recommended. To remove it, tick Delete and save.

Appearance

  • Background Color and Accent Color, i.e. the colour of buttons and highlights. The accent colour is also used as the default player colour under Quick Links and Widgets.
  • Background Image: a JPG, PNG or WEBP background (not GIF), up to 5 MB. It covers the background colour. A 1920×1080 photo with dark tones works well.
Careful: if an image is rejected (size or type), none of your changes are saved. You'll see "Logo: Max 2MB, only JPG/PNG/GIF/WEBP" or "Background: Max 5MB, only JPG/PNG/WEBP". Fix the image and make the changes again.

QR CodeA QR code that opens the page on a phone.
Show requests on pageThe request form. Song Requests must also be enabled.

Player Settings

  • Default player style: Compact (small) or Full (large, with more information).
  • Autoplay: the player starts as soon as the page opens. Most browsers block automatic sound until the visitor clicks somewhere, so don't rely on it.

Chat

The page can have a chat for your listeners:

  • Enable Chat: allows sending messages.
  • Show Chat: shows the chat panel. If the chat is shown but not enabled, visitors see "Chat is disabled". To hide it completely, turn off Show Chat.
  • Chat Position: sidebar or centre.

A visitor first enters Your Name and can then send messages. There's a limit of one message every 3 seconds.

Moderating the chat

When you're logged in to the panel and open the public page in the same browser, you see buttons on each message to delete it and ban the user. A ban is based on the visitor's connection (IP) and is permanent until you lift it. Your own messages appear as station messages.

On the settings page, in the Chat card:

  • Bans: the list of banned users, with Unban for each.
  • Clear: permanently deletes all messages.

Ideas for using it

  • Put the page address in your Instagram bio and on your Facebook page.
  • Print the QR code (you'll find it under Quick Links) on posters, cards and in your shop.
  • If you have your own website, put a player there using the Widgets and keep the public page for social media.
